The Story Behind the Studio
I come from a family where art was woven into everyday life: through music, building, bread making, dancing, singing, painting, handwork, and a deep love for the earth. My mother played guitar and sang beautifully. My father and grandfather built with their hands. My grandmother made intricate hair bows. One great-grandmother spent many of her later years painting the outside of her home, and another has lived close to the land, baking bread and tending the beautiful farm she still calls home.
No one formally taught me how to create. I learned by watching, feeling, trying, and finding my own way. Art has moved through my life in different seasons, sometimes quietly, sometimes with a stronger pull, but it has always been something I long for and return to. It connects me to my roots, brings me calm, and reminds me of something simple, beautiful, and alive.
When I became a mother, art opened another doorway. Making with my child has shown me how much can be shared without many words: imagination, courage, feeling, wonder, and the deep inner world of a child. That connection is one of the reasons this studio came to life.
I am also beginning my journey in interior design, and I care deeply about creating spaces that feel warm, natural, and full of belonging. My hope is for this studio to become a small community around handmade art: a place where we can slow down, create with care, honor Mother Earth, and feel more connected to ourselves, one another, and the beauty of nature.

Through art, nature, and handwork, we return to ourselves, one another, and Mother Earth.
This is a space to wonder, explore, and make with love: a place where creativity feels natural, where simple materials become meaningful, and where working by hand becomes a way to connect more deeply with ourselves, one another, and the earth.
