Classes

All classes take place in a small, warm home studio. Materials are included and non-toxic, and natural whenever possible. Booking and payment happen through Cal.com, with a card required at the time of booking.

Children's Classes

Art, craft, and handwork can be beautiful ways to meet a child more deeply: to see their imagination, their courage, their feelings, and their own way of moving through the world.

The studio offers both parent-child classes and drop-off classes for kindergarten-age children and older. Parent-child classes are a time to slow down together, sit side by side, and share the experience of making with your hands. In the middle of busy family life, this can become a meaningful pause: a space to listen, notice, support, and connect through creativity.

Drop-off classes give older children a chance to explore in a small, calm setting with thoughtful guidance and room for independence. Children may work with drawing, painting, watercolor, clay, wool, fibers, natural pigments, handmade tools, seasonal crafts, bread making, gift making, and other forms of nature-inspired handwork. Whether a child is creating beside a parent or on their own, the focus remains the same: curiosity, confidence, imagination, and the joy of making.

Classes are intentionally small, with only a few children at a time, so each child has room to feel seen and supported. For children who need a pause, there are simple toys and access to the outdoors when weather and class rhythm allow. Children may visit our sweet chickens, spend time in the fairy garden, play in the sandbox or mud kitchen, or simply sit outside and listen to the fountain and the sounds of nature.

This is a space for creativity, connection, patience, and wonder: a place where children can feel safe, inspired, and free to create in their own beautiful way.

Note: drop-off classes are offered for kindergarten-age children and older. Parent-child classes are available for younger children. If your child is outside the listed age range for a class but you feel it may be a good fit, please reach out by email.

Children may explore watercolor, drawing, painting, wool, flowers, leaves, clay, simple natural materials, and other sensory-rich projects. The focus is not on making a perfect finished piece, but on experiencing beauty, color, texture, rhythm, and the joy of making with the hands.

Caregivers are present as steady support for the child. This class is also a time for caregiver and child to slow down together, share a creative moment, and build connection through simple, beautiful materials.

Adult Classes

A calm, quiet view into the studio, with baskets hanging and a table set for class

Adult classes are small, personal, and held with a maximum of four people, allowing the space to feel calm, welcoming, and unhurried.

These classes are not about mastering perfect techniques or creating something exactly as shown. They are an invitation to slow down, work with natural materials, and let creativity open in its own way. Each class begins with guidance, inspiration, and enough instruction to feel comfortable, then there is room to explore, follow curiosity, and make something that feels personal and alive.

Nature is often our starting place: color, texture, form, seasons, flowers, wool, clay, paper, wood, natural pigments, and the quiet beauty of the handmade. Projects may include drawing, painting, handwork, gift making, flower hammering, felting, candle making, seasonal crafts, and other nature-inspired creative work.

Through these materials, creativity becomes less about performance and more about presence: a way to reconnect with imagination, patience, and the joy of making something with your own hands.

This is a space for adults to pause, create, and feel inspired again: to leave with something handmade, and perhaps also with a little more calm, courage, and connection to themselves and the natural world.
